About The Position

POSITION OVERVIEW: Oversee the daily operations of your assigned work cells. Primary responsibilities will be to train, plan, organize, direct, and complete packaging and production orders.

Requirements

• College Degree or equal Work Experience
• Previous experience in front-line supervision
• 4+ years of management experience in a diverse environment
• Experience with Microsoft office: word, excel, power point
• Ability to work with all levels of employees and management
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Hands on commitment to getting the job done in a safe manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership and motivational skills

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisors and crew leaders in assigned areas of greenhouse
• Communicate with receiving department of supplies, and resource needs
• Review production schedules and packaging plan with supervisors, communicate to Plant Manger labor needs for work cell assignments
• Teach train and develop supervisors and hourly personnel.
• Prepare and maintain packaging and production reports in Microsoft Teams
• Ensure the use of work instructions and run rates, use of tracking tools hour by hour boards
• Maintain and promote Safety activities to provide a safe working environment
• Involved in creating SOP’s and work instructions alongside the Continuous Improvement Team
• Responsible for the implementation of SOP’s and training of the staff
• All other duties as assigned
