The City of Waconia is now hiring for an Assistant Planner. This position is responsible for administering the City Zoning Code in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan, applicable laws, policies and regulations. The Assistant Planner will play a big role in working on the 2050 Comprehensive Plan as well as be part of a permitting software implementation. This position works collaboratively with staff among all departments, advisory commissions, and the public to develop effective working relationships.
