Requirements

• Previous experience in a pastry or baking role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and pastry equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious desserts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations.
• Help manage inventory and order pastry supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dessert items and seasonal menus.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support the Head Pastry Chef in daily operations and special events.
