About The Position

The Assistant Party Manager at The Funplex is responsible for leading the Birthday Party Team at the Mount Laurel location, ensuring a high-energy environment and exceptional guest experiences during birthday parties. This role involves managing party sales, coordinating events, and developing a team to create a fun atmosphere for guests. The position requires strong organizational and leadership skills to facilitate entertaining parties and maintain effective communication with management.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of related experience in sales preferably in hospitality/service/event/catering industry, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office and CRM
• Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment
• Able to cultivate a positive environment

Responsibilities

• Facilitate entertaining birthday parties
• Schedule, coordinate and manage birthday party sales, hosts and runners
• Develop your team to create a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests
• Organize and implement birthday schedules and events
• Manage and schedule party office sales team, hosts and runners
• Maintain reservations and prepare reports
• Oversee/provide clean up following parties
• Ensure that party sheets are completed both accurately and on time
• Daily party schedule
• Food & Beverage spreadsheet
• Guest surveys
• Maintain inventory of party supplies, office supplies and uniforms
• Maintain open communications with management of scheduled events
• Develop and implement post-party follow up and referral process
• Assist and support the party sales team on all birthday related questions/concerns
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) system including deposits and party transactions
• Provide or perform other services or duties as required by Party Manager and Director of Sales.
