Job Description Scott Petroleum, a leader in the petroleum industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Parts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone eager to learn, able to operate a computer, exceptional customer service relations, and help manage daily inventory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional parts knowledge or vocational training is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Inventory Check-in inventory crates each morning to ensure that packing slips are accurate and inventory is up to date.
  • Oversee inventory stocking of parts and fittings, oils, lubricants and hoses.
  • Computer Skills Billing, receiving and adjusting inventory to ensure customers are billed properly and inventory is correct in the system.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and communicate billing.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections to ensure work environment is safe and efficient.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for over/shortage inventory.
  • Complete required paperwork, including work orders and inventory reports, promptly and accurately.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other employees and departments to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide support to customers as well as other employees
