About The Position

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, Assists in the day to day operation of the Branch's Parts Department incompliance with established policies and procedures. Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Insures effective warehouse performance and maintains inventory control of parts which includes monitoring cycle counts, accuracy of orders picked and shipped, proper placement of parts into inventory and warehouse equipment. · Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed. · Works with Parts Manager and Director to supervise and coordinate annual inventory counts. · Works with parts manager to ensure that approved parts/warehouse policies and procedures are followed. · Responsible for training all parts personnel · Organizes obsolete parts return · Promotes safe work habits and ensure that safety rules are followed throughout the entire parts department and in particular warehouse personnel · Assists in total parts department operations in the absence of parts manager. Writing Skills 4 - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Presentation Skills 3 - Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills 2 - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Skills Skill Level 3 - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Application 3 - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
