Requirements

  • Customer Service Skills: A passion for helping customers and a commitment to delivering excellence.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in MS Office and a knack for using computer systems.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborative Team Player: A proactive contributor who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working well with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Dependable and Responsible: A strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in an automotive parts department (high-volume shop experience is a plus!).
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Must pass background check and hair follicle drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Support the Parts Manager in inventory management and stock control to ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate our parts department team for optimal performance. Assist Parts Manager in hiring, training, and other management duties.
  • Customer Engagement: Assist customers in finding the right parts and inform them about companion parts and specials.
  • Inquiries and Quotes: Respond to phone calls, provide price quotes, and address customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Accuracy Review: Check body shop estimates for accuracy and coordinate parts orders.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, and special orders.
  • Inventory Management: Pull and fill orders while managing our parts inventory effectively.
  • Communication: Liaise with service advisors, body shop staff, and customers about parts arrivals and orders.
  • Sales Tracking: Help track lost sales and ensure a clean, welcoming counter area.
