About The Position
Haddad Brands is seeking an Assistant Package Designer to join our dynamic packaging department. This role is essential in supporting the daily activities that ensure the accurate and timely production of packaging materials for our children's wear products. As a family-owned business with over 70 years of experience, Haddad is a leader in the children's apparel and accessories industry, representing iconic brands such as Nike, Converse, and Levi's. The Assistant Package Designer will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and creativity in packaging design. In this position, you will assist in market research to identify trends and develop new concepts that align with our brand's vision. You will gain hands-on experience in the print production process, from initial design to final production, ensuring that all artwork and copy are updated according to feedback from various stakeholders. Your ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with vendors will be vital in managing production changes and approvals. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and updating the packaging sample schedule, maintaining development tracking charts, and ensuring that all deadlines are met in accordance with the seasonal design calendar. This role requires a consistent in-office presence to foster collaboration and a deep understanding of our brand's aesthetic and tactile qualities. Special projects may also be assigned, providing opportunities for professional growth and creativity.
