The Interior Design program at UT San Antonio is a small but dynamic team; we are looking for someone to help contribute towards our continued growth.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in design, interior design, or architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years teaching experience within a Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) program.
  • National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ ) licensed.
  • This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with teaching upper-level studios with integration of content related to the building industry.
  • Experience with teaching variety of lecture courses.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and with clarity.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in professional practice, preferably in Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching 12 credit hours in both fall and spring semesters
  • Actively participate in the Interior Design Curriculum Committee
  • Actively engage prospective students at UT San Antonio events.
  • Develop relationships with local design industry.
  • Oversees the Material Lab.
  • Interior Design student club Advisor.
