About The Position
The Computer Science, Physics and Engineering Department at Benedict College invites applications for full-time tenure-track, assistant or associate professor position in Computer Science beginning Fall 2020. The candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service. Applicants must demonstrate teaching excellence in their specialties and an interest in curriculum innovation. Expertise in instructional technology will be a valuable asset. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory, intermediate, and upper level courses in computer science as well as courses in cyber-security, machine learning, and data mining.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in computer science (required)
- a completed Benedict College faculty application
- three reference letters
- official college transcript(s) from each institution attended
- a current background check from home state
- a cover letter addressing how you meet the qualifications of the position

- copy of driver’s license
