About The Position

The University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking an assistant professor/associate professor level faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics, specifically for the Neonatology division. This role involves educating residents and NICU fellows, providing clinical care in a Level III NICU, and participating in research and quality improvement projects. The position offers a collaborative working environment and opportunities to partner with local community physicians, as well as involvement in the Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Program.

Requirements

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of Residency training in Pediatrics.
• Completion of Fellowship training in Neonatology.
• Maryland medical license or eligibility for Maryland medical license.
• Current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
• Meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology with excellent teaching and clinical skills.
