About The Position

We seek a professional who is passionate about teaching undergraduate business students and who wishes to make a lasting impact on their futures. The candidate will be articulate and affable, will have a deep knowledge of the various areas in finance and, is comfortable expressing and combining theory and practice in a highly rigorous manner and assessing student performance accordingly. The optimal candidate will have experience that will reflect an advanced background in both Finance education and real-world practice. Classes are held on our central Queens campus (Kew Gardens Hills), in New York City (Manhattan) and in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Requirements

• Doctor of Philosophy required.
• Ph.D. required, research record preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in the field and prior teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal a plus.
• Able to lecture via zoom with use of screen share and smart board.

Responsibilities

• Teaching 4 undergraduate semester-long courses in Finance including introductory and advanced courses, per semester (fall and spring).
• Keeping regular office hours to consult with students concerning academic and career matters.
