The Blair College of Health at Queens University of Charlotte invites applications for two full-time Assistant or Associate Professor, 9âmonth faculty positions in Exercise and Sport Science (ESS) beginning August 2026. We seek an energetic, collaborative faculty member who will contribute to the student experience and the mission of the department, college, and university. The growing ESS curriculum includes robust internship opportunities and satisfies the necessary prerequisites for most physical therapy and occupational therapy graduate programs. Students in this program have the goal of attending graduate school in healthârelated fields or using their undergraduate degrees in exercise and sport science to begin careers in clinical, rehabilitation, community health, or strength and conditioning areas. The ESS Program is committed to inclusive and innovative undergraduate teaching. The ESS Program is housed in the Department of Health and Human Performance. The faculty member will report to the Chair of the Department. Primary teaching responsibility will be for undergraduate students. Additional teaching responsibilities may include teaching in the nationally distinctive Queens General Education or Honors programs. Queens' faculty also have the opportunity to propose and lead study abroad programs. This position is exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time off for additional hours worked.
