About The Position

The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy is seeking applicants for one tenure-track Assistant Professor and one tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Accounting starting Fall 2026, subject to final budget approval. The successful candidate will engage in high-quality scholarly research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, mentor students (undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D.), and share responsibility for committee and department assignments.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Accounting or related fields
• Demonstrate an ability to conduct high-quality original scholarly research in accounting
• Ability to teach successfully
• Ability to cooperate with colleagues for the good of the institution
• Candidates are also required to submit a narrative statement describing their commitment to and experience with working effectively with faculty and staff, and teaching students in, a pluralistic urban campus environment with a substantial population of students who are among the first- generation of their family to attend a college or university
