About The Position

With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide. We are currently searching for 3rd shift Assistant Operator to join our team at our Auria Albemarle Plant in Albemarle, NC.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Must have the ability manage complex machinery in a production setting
• Must be able to fill in for the Operator when necessary
• Must have strong problem-solving skills as related to machinery run conditions
• Must be able to work with and instruct team members on daily task responsibilities
• Must be able to complete training program
• Must have a good safety record
• Must be able to use mechanical tools on a regular basis
• Must be able to lift heavy loads on a consistent basis
• Must be able to move and assist in moving extremely heavy equipment such as dies, screws, etc.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, and crawl
• Must be able to stand the entire shift
• Must be willing to train other team members as needed
• May be required to travel for training

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating complex machinery
• Cross train employees where necessary
• Instruct team members on daily task responsibilities
• Fill in for the Operator when necessary
• Train other team members as needed
