Job Description Position Summary: The Assistant Extruder Operator assists the Operator in the safe operation of plastic extrusion equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperature, pressures, and winder speeds while also focusing on safety and efficiency. Schedule: 2nd shift Pay rate: $20.00/hr

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Awareness towards safety
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
  • Able to work overtime and weekends if required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operations of manufacturing of quality products.
  • Prepare station for production process.
  • Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
  • Gather and measure raw materials and parts required to specification.
  • Comply with all Company standards with regards to housekeeping
  • Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
