About The Position

Assistant Microtransit Operations Supervisor - Microtransit Ops Supervisor I Bilingual in English & Spanish required Transdev in Goodyear, Arizona is hiring an Operations Supervisor I. The Assistant Microtransit Operations Supervisor performs supervisory duties relative to the oversight of Microtransit service delivery and provides assistance to the Lead Microtransit Operations Supervisor. This includes evaluating service performance, operator performance to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, procedures, and the service agreement. The Supervisor performs the scheduling duties for both manpower and accepting inbound trip requests as required. Monitors and ensures smooth provision of service not limited to overall rider satisfaction, safety, on time performance, service quality and customer service . Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum (1) years’ experience in the transit industry.
  • Knowlege of: Microtransit, fixed route, or paratransit operations; d ispatch and booking software platforms; s tate and federal DOT standards.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with a high level of discretion and judgment to support informed decision-making.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • A demonstrated commitment to organizational well-being and a respectful, supportive approach toward colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and shift work as needed.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required to meet contractual obligations.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor AM & PM pull-outs, including fit for duty positive check in on all operators.
  • Monitor on time performance and trip routing.
  • Makes recommendations to support the implementation of standard operating procedures to improve key performance indicators.
  • Conducts road observations to evaluate operator safety, customer service, and systematic knowledge of the service.
  • Monitors and enforces the company attendance policy.
  • Respond to customer comments related to the service.
  • Participates in training campaigns related to service operations, and the software provider.
  • Assists the city with marketing campaigns to promote the service.
  • Assists with the hiring and training of new operators as required.
  • Work independently to perform a variety of functions while working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to meet established deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
