About The Position
The Operations Manager at Esporta Fitness plays a crucial role in ensuring that members receive exceptional service from a friendly and well-trained staff in a clean and well-maintained facility. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including hiring, training, and supervising fitness, babysitting, and janitorial staff. The Operations Manager is also responsible for resolving membership issues, updating past due accounts, managing payroll, and overseeing the supplies budget. Upholding company standards is a key aspect of this role, ensuring that the facility meets the expectations of both the company and its members. In addition to the operational duties, the Operations Manager will be expected to foster a positive work environment that encourages staff to provide excellent customer service. This includes creating a motivating atmosphere for both employees and members, which is essential for maintaining high levels of member satisfaction. The position is full-time, requiring a commitment to work Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. A strong interest in health and fitness is required, as this aligns with the company’s mission to promote a healthy lifestyle among its members. Candidates for this position should have a management experience of at least three years and hold a four-year degree.
