About the Role Serve as a liaison with clients, caregivers, and program staff members. Be responsible for and oversee driver and monitor scheduling for all daily running routes and van schedules. Manage and oversee daily operations. Manage employee performance by setting and communicating standards, expectations, measuring results and providing feedback. Actively develop, lead and promote the use of work teams and best practices for process improvement. Interview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators and supervisors. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for dispatch, employee training and certification, routing, and safety practices. Maintain appropriate staffing levels for drivers and monitors. Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training requirements, and licensing. Oversee the vehicle maintenance and repair process and keep our vans in a high state of readiness. Review and prepare billing each month. Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by the Operations Manager or Vice President.
