About The Position

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our team as an Assistant Operations Manager for 1823 Kitchen and Bar at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay located in Tampa, FL. The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for providing support to the operation of the hotel outlets, including 1823 Kitchen and Bar Restaurant, as well as the Hotel Pool Bar, In Room Dining, and Market.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale full-service environment preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with a flexible work schedule
• Team player and a dynamic leader

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the hotel outlets, while working closely with the 1823 Manager and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
• Support the 1823 Manager in their efforts to effectively hire, train, and develop team members
• Lead and coach the team in achieving a world class standard of service
• Develop comprehensive programs to ensure colleague engagement within the workplace
• Creatively implement strategies that focus on cost containment and outlet revenue growth year over year
• Develop high potential colleagues so that they are prepared to assume future leadership roles within the company
• Work closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure a cohesive and elevated experience for hotel guests
