About The Position

An Assistant Office Manager is a highly engaged leader that possess a high level of acuity in business acumen and is focused on developing a patient-focused team that is goal oriented. Effective execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE). Develop and maintain a good working relationship with doctor/doctors associated with office location. Enforce all corporate policies and procedures. Motivate team members by remaining positive and communicating any changes or news in a supportive and constructive way. Assist with executing day-to-day operations of the office. Examples include: Monitor and assist with office flow, supply inventory, team member training and other duties as assigned or needed within the office. Assist leading the office by guiding them to success through focused support and coaching as directed by the Office Manager. Handle team member and patient questions in the absence of the Office Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous medical office experience preferred; previous leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Favorable result on background check as required by state
  • Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—is 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.
