About The Position
The position involves working under the direct supervision of the Nutritionist III Supervisor or the Health Department Manager to perform WIC certifications, breastfeeding promotion and support, individual low-risk nutrition education, and health promotion, as well as group nutrition education. Services are delivered to clients and families in various settings including clinics, schools, hospitals, or offices. The role includes providing assistance and education to participants and families regarding contract and List I Special Formulas, and offering technical assistance and consultation to staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
