Job Details Our Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator (ANCC) will: Assist the Director of Inpatient Rehab in delegating and coordinating nursing care activities of all patients on the nursing unit. The patient population includes: Pediatric Acute Rehab patients, Pediatric and Adult Medical-Surgical patients, and adolescent medical withdrawal (detox) patients Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. What you’ll bring: Passion for Pediatric Medical- Surgical & Rehab Nursing and an interest in growing as a leader in Nursing 1-2+ Years of RN experience working in Pediatrics and Med/Surg in a hospital based environment Previous leadership experience preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required

Requirements

  • Passion for Pediatric Medical- Surgical & Rehab Nursing and an interest in growing as a leader in Nursing
  • 1-2+ Years of RN experience working in Pediatrics and Med/Surg in a hospital based environment
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
  • Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required

  • Previous leadership experience preferred
