To assist the camp nurse in all aspects of camp healthcare. This includes, but is not limited to, checking in campers on check-in days, staying on top of campers health needs and medication distribution, and general health center organization and supply management. The Nurse Assistant should be comfortable communicating with parents and working with the nurse to determine the best course of action for any injury, sickness, or ailment that comes into the nurse’s station. The Nurse Assistant does not live in a cabin with resident campers, but is expected to start their day at 7:30am at the start of Morning Oli with the rest of summer camp. It is also expected that they would be willing to move in with resident camp campers or assist camp in any way if we were to be short-staffed for any reason.
