· As a Float Pool Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), you serve in a dual-impact leadership role that blends direct team supervision with enterprise-level staffing oversight. In addition to managing Float Pool staff and daily operations, the ANM routinely functions as House Supervisor, helping to maintain clinical continuity across the organization. · Key responsibilities include: o Collaborating with unit leaders to optimize real-time staffing based on acuity, skill mix, and patient flow o Leading staffing huddles and facilitating shift reports o Serving as a liaison between frontline staff and hospital leadership o Addressing emergent staffing concerns with urgency and clarity o Supporting employee health events and coordinating responses to rapid clinical escalations (e.g., codes, rapid responses) · This role demands a leader who is agile, collaborative, and solutions-driven—someone who sees the big picture, prioritizes safe care, and develops an exceptional nursing team that thrives in a fast-paced, system-wide environment.
