The Assistant Nurse Manager-Virtual Health (ANM VH) is primarily responsible for assisting the Virtual Health Manager(s) and Director(s), in managing multiple virtual health programs, both in the ambulatory and inpatient setting. This could include but is not limited to Nurse Triage, Remote Patient Monitoring, School Based Health, Video Visits, Telemetry Monitoring, Tele-Sitting, Virtual Observation and Virtual Nursing. The ANM VH will be required to be an effective troubleshooter, and support system-wide associates in the programs listed above. The AMN VH presents a positive impression with all internal and external collaborators. The ANM VH must be a loyal team player, who can work autonomously with independent thinking, judgment, discretion, confidentiality, decision-making and exhibit problem-solving and critical thinking skills in stressful situations. The ANM VH will strive for innovative solutions to problems with a mindset of continuous process improvement. Administrative duties include adjusting and approving timecards of associates, scheduling, fielding questions from associates and interdisciplinary departments, monitoring quality assurance, and providing orientation and ongoing training for the virtual health programs and associates. In addition, the ANM will assist the VH leadership team in the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. The ANM VH is a first level exempt management position designed to meet business needs as well as create a career development opportunity in preparation for broader leadership roles. The ANM reports to the Director of Virtual Health.
