Cleveland Clinic's H60 Neuroscience Unit is a specialized unit that oversees multiple neurology conditions, such as stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, brain and spine tumors, Parkinson's Disease, epilepsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, degenerative brain diseases and spinal disorders, and provides caregivers with a lot of versatility and exposure. Our unit prides itself on providing new caregiver orientation that is individualized to ensure success. We encourage participation in opportunities to enhance the orientation learning experience such as operating room observation time, interactive case studies with our nurse practitioners and residents, clinic observations, and more. We also support new nurses with one-on-one preceptors, as well as weekly progress meetings. Join our unit and take part in some of the most complex procedures in healthcare, such as craniotomies for brain tumors, shunts, aneurysm coiling/clipping, deep brain stimulators, SA drain evaluations, spinal procedures, laminectomy, discectomy and fusions with hardware.
