About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager to our Neuro Unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full time days opportunity, 36 hours per week. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, Neuro you will be Responsible for: Providing nursing care to patients on the unit The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments. Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff Monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews Facilitates any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current Is able to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulate This Assistant Nurse Manager position will be located at Baptist Downtown. Requirements
- Medical Surgical Experience Required
- Post- Surgical Nursing Experience Required
- Nursing Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
