The Assistant Nurse Manager will monitor daily clinical operations of outpatient clinics. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00am to 5:00pm with an additional time from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • Two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in cardiology and engaging with cardiac stress testing

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care.
  • Anticipate and resolve patient care and personnel issues.
  • In conjunction with the clinical manager, ensure maintenance of annual staff competencies and continuing education.
  • Perform duties of the RN (Registered Nurse) Ambulatory as needed.
  • Collaborates with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care.
  • Participate and/or coordinates committees, task forces, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Participate in department leadership meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
  • Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of personnel, annual performance reviews, and performance improvement.
