The Assistant Nurse Manager has accountability for the clinical and administrative leadership of the assigned patient care area under the Nurse Manager. The position assures the delivery of quality patient care and accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the UnityPoint Health Meriter system. The Assistant Nurse Manager assists the Nurse Manager in control, coordination and evaluation of human, material and fiscal resources in the assigned patient care area.
