About The Position
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) at Hackensack Meridian Health is a professional, registered nurse who plays a crucial role in supporting the nursing strategic plan and priorities of the organization. In addition to supporting the nursing staff, the ANM actively participates in unit and hospital decision-making processes, providing meaningful recognition to team members. The ANM is involved in recruitment and retention strategies, assists with unit huddles, and participates in the creation of unit goals that align with the hospital's mission and vision. The role also includes leading or participating in evidence-based practice projects, resolving conflicts, and conducting performance evaluations for assigned staff members. Financial management is another key aspect of the ANM's responsibilities, as they collaborate with the Nurse Manager to ensure efficient fiscal management of departmental activities and monitor staffing productivity.
