Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required.
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery and/or management experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Prior forklift operating and merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must maintain all training and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and available for sale.
• Maintain presentation standards and deliver a positive member experience.
• Oversee the nightly execution and performance of merchandise department tasks.
• Direct the work of the overnight team and coach team members.
• Teach, develop, and motivate team members for successful execution of club merchandising.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, taking full responsibility for club operations.
• Lead overnight merchandising execution and collaborate with the Assistant Club Manager of Merchandising.
• Support execution of merchandising tasks and coordinate staffing and training.
• Execute key overnight merchandising tasks including display setup and sales floor resets.
• Ensure all products are properly merchandised and available in the right quantities.
• Follow and implement corporate merchandising plans and sales initiatives.
• Recommend improvements to merchandising strategies based on store conditions.
• Oversee maintenance and safe operation of overnight equipment.
• Model and enforce safe equipment usage and lead safety compliance.
• Ensure proper execution of inventory controls and maintain audit readiness.
• Utilize reporting tools to guide team focus and enhance efficiency.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
• Comply with club policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
