About The Position

As assistant general manager, you will frequently be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your center, working as part of an excellent team and learning valuable skills to get your career moving. This role is for individuals looking for more responsibility and who enjoy helping others. U-Haul offers immediate start and pay, including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
Leadership experience in any form
Customer service experience
Ability to work a variety of shifts

Responsibilities

Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
