Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. The concept for U-Haul was generated out of need after World War II for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis. U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it. Their visionary approach spread the cost of ownership among many users, facilitating the mobility of the populations of the U.S. and Canada. The covered wagon of the pioneers morphed into orange U-Haul trailers, and in the process, an industry was born.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
Leadership experience in any form
Customer service experience
Ability to work a variety of shifts

Responsibilities

Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
