About The Position
The Assistant Metadata Librarian at the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library (HMML) is a full-time, grant-funded position responsible for creating and improving metadata for the library's extensive digital and microfilm collections. This role involves working under the supervision of the Director of Cataloging to ensure accurate and well-documented metadata that facilitates public access to historical manuscripts. The position is remote optional and aims to enhance the library's cataloging efforts through authority file creation and adherence to international cataloging standards.
