About The Position

As an Assistant Merchant, Skincare, S@K, you will report into the Senior Merchant and manage brand and multibranded assortments for over 1,000+ Sephora at Kohl's locations, including visual merchandising and timelines. You will manage relationships and assortment strategy for over 20 brands in partnership with your Manager, acting as a conduit between Kohl's and Sephora partners across the organization. Your role will involve assisting in the execution of skincare brand strategies for the Sephora at Kohl's environment, as developed by the Sephora Category Merchandising teams, including brand growth, new brands and product introductions, expansion of current brands, and exit of underperforming brands. You will communicate consistently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met, prepare reports, and assist in analyzing the business for sales driving opportunities. Additionally, you will work with internal and external cross-functional partners to execute product launches and animation strategies, analyze all elements of the category to identify areas of opportunity, and demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.

Requirements

• 2+ years retail buying or account management experience at a major retailer
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills with comfort presenting to large groups
• Problem solving and analytical skills, working well within ambiguity and navigating a complex business
• An ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast pace, complex environment
• A strong numbers-aptitude and analytical skills with a drive for results
• Strong attention to details
• Experience with Project Management a plus
• A positive and collaborative attitude
• Excellent technical skills - MS Office (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint); merchant systems
