Summary The Assistant Medical Director will work both as a Primary Care Provider and also as a Clinical Leader at our Worcester Primary Care site. This person will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and supporting the clinic’s Advanced Practice Clinicians (NPs and PAs). This Assistant Director will also support the APP Residency by participating in precepting Residency sessions, meeting with Residency Director, and acting as liaison between Residency and other administrative teams within the organization. The Assistant Medical Director will provide comprehensive primary care as a member of the clinical practice team, working collaboratively with other team members in providing services to patients. This includes participating in the coordination of care for individual patients, and supporting patients and families in self-management, through evidenced-based approaches as may be appropriate at the clinic.
