About The Position

The Country Club of Buffalo is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual with a strong work ethic to join our team. The assistant mechanic is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week). The assistant mechanic position involves assisting the equipment manager in all facets of equipment maintenance and repair. Assistant mechanic primary duties will include preventative equipment maintenance and cutting unit maintenance. This position is available immediately. While previous experience in the turf industry is a plus, it is not required—we will provide comprehensive training. Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (professional or personal experience).
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage daily tasks efficiently.
  • Dependability and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf carts and similar equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment such as leaf blowers, string trimmers, and other related tools.
  • Assist with mower repair and maintenance as needed.
  • Perform adjustments and repairs on cutting units and other turf-related machinery.
