Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese
  • Background or studies in math, education, or a STEM field
  • Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both kids and adults
  • Solid math competency Algebra II - required (preferred up Calculus)
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow in an education-focused business environment
  • Positive, professional, and passionate about education.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Center Director with daily operations
  • Communicate with parents and students ( English and Vietnamese Required)
  • Conduct student assessments and consultations
  • Build strong relationships with families, school administrators, and the local community
  • Coach and mentor instructors to ensure high-quality instruction and engagement
  • Oversee scheduling, reporting, and student records
