About The Position

East Penn is currently seeking an Assistant Material Coordinator. This position involves assisting in the coordination efforts of Glovia and eConfigure implementation in the Industrial Division. The role includes training Glovia and eConfigure users and acting as a help desk for Industrial Glovia and eConfigure users. Responsibilities also include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving problems related to the Glovia and eConfigure systems, interacting with IT for problem diagnosis, aiding in report and view development, and ensuring accurate Bills of Material and layout configurations by interacting with Engineering and costing. The Assistant Material Coordinator will also interact with Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Order entry, Purchasing, Production & Engineering to ensure the availability of raw materials to meet production schedules and delivery requirements. Additional tasks include running weekly forecast programs, acting as a forecasting liaison, running master production schedules and MPS exception reports, distributing reports, calculating materials requirements planning, understanding the DISCCS inventory system, and reestablishing a cycle count program. Other duties may be assigned as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems related to Glovia and eConfigure systems.
