Position Overview Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We seek a detail-oriented and team-focused Assistant Master Electrician who exemplifies our core values and is passionate about nurturing young artists. As an Assistant Master Electrician, you will play a vital role in preparing and operating lighting systems for student theatrical productions, working closely with the Master Electrician. This position offers a unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in a dynamic and creative summer camp environment while contributing to high-quality theatrical performances.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing, operating, and maintaining lighting systems for student theatrical performances across four theatres.
- Support the load-in, operation, and load-out of the light lab.
- Operate ETC Eos light boards for high school repertory productions.
- Collaborate closely with the Master Electrician, Lighting Designers and other production staff to ensure smooth operations.
