About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Ampler Pizza is responsible for supervising restaurant colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability during their shifts. This role involves hands-on management, coaching, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of service and product quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or customer contact is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Dependable and able to work under pressure in stressful situations.
• Ability to work a standard schedule of approximately 20-30 hours per week.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record maintained within company guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
• Familiarity with cash handling and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant colleagues to ensure they perform their job responsibilities effectively.
• Ensure customer orders are correct and completed within service time goals according to established standards.
• Prepare and serve consistent, high-quality products as per training guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to health department standards.
• Perform cash management responsibilities and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
• Provide direction and feedback to colleagues, coaching them to meet job standards and policies.
• Monitor shift activities to ensure compliance with cost control measures for food, paper, and labor.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately as directed by management.
• Follow procedures for opening and closing the restaurant, handling unexpected occurrences appropriately.
