About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also requires knowledge and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures, ensuring profitability by managing food costs, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is a key aspect, as the individual will guide the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture. The position includes assisting the General Manager in implementing operations game plans and company initiatives, participating in employee management, and ensuring all required programs and reports are completed accurately and on schedule. Additionally, the role involves promoting Public Safety Foundation initiatives and representing Firehouse Subs positively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adhere to and enforce Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Manage profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet service and quality standards.
• Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing operations game plans.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of required programs, reports, and legal documents.
• Implement and promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding business issues.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Complete any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.

Benefits

• $11.00 - $12.00 per hour compensation.
