About The Position

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive. This is a Bonus-eligible position that requires excellent availability.

Requirements

• Ability to work a 40 hours a week
• Day shifts and night shifts are required
• Must have open availability
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend and reach throughout shifts

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a managerial role
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager
• Ensure the store is in exceptional order
• Lead by example and execute systems and procedures with integrity
• Coach and task-manage employees on store operations
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Perform, teach, and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper, and Delivery Driver positions as needed
• Offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager
