About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Regal Cinemas is responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and providing excellent guest service. This role involves training and developing staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining safety and compliance standards within the theatre.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months of supervisory experience or six months of theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program.
• Good public speaking skills and effective communication abilities.
• Proven experience with PC platforms and basic office programs.
• Ability to perform calculations accurately and identify errors.
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment with dexterity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a customer service role.
• Knowledge of theatre operations and film handling.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise theatre operations and employees.
• Train, develop, coach, and supervise non-management employees.
• Perform all staff positions as required.
• Operate all projection and audio-visual equipment, including film handling and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol certification and training where applicable.
• Monitor risk management related to employee and patron safety.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle customer inquiries.
• Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts taken in during business hours.
• Administer all applicable paperwork and uphold company policies regarding Human Resources.
• Control costs and manage inventory for concessions and supplies.
• Supervise theatre maintenance and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Market and promote feature film engagements and schedule movie show times.
