Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager position at Bojangles is a full-time role that plays a crucial part in the management of the restaurant. This position is designed for individuals who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager. The Assistant Manager will build upon the skills acquired in the Shift Manager role and is expected to be well-versed in all management systems. This includes assisting the General Manager with various tasks and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly during shifts. The Assistant Manager must have open availability to meet the demands of the position and is responsible for a variety of essential job functions that contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. In this role, the Assistant Manager will oversee the adherence of Shift Managers and Team Members to their respective responsibilities. They will take charge of production management, maintain temperature logs, track waste, and conduct key inventory item counts. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will handle sales and cash reconciliation, train new team members, and address any escalated guest concerns. Other responsibilities may include managing truck orders, receiving deliveries, conducting weekly inventory counts, and scheduling staff with the final approval of the General Manager or District Manager. The Assistant Manager will also be involved in the hiring process by conducting interviews and reference checks on qualified applicants, as well as training Shift Managers. This position requires a proactive approach to management tasks and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.
