About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role requires ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also involves enforcing all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures, ensuring profitability by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is a key component, as the individual will guide the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture and mission. Additionally, the role includes assisting the General Manager in coordinating operations, participating in employee management, ensuring accuracy in required programs and reports, promoting Public Safety Foundation initiatives, and representing Firehouse Subs positively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Adhere to and enforce all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage shifts to ensure profitability within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the GM's guidance.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional manner at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner about business-impacting issues.
  • Perform physical tasks such as working on feet for up to 13 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Complete any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
