As an Assistant Manager, you will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Your role will involve interviewing and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating daily performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints while resolving problems. All of this is done while maintaining a high level of guest service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. In this position, you will direct, coordinate, and participate in the preparation, cooking, assembling, or packaging of food served or prepared by crew members. You will perform shift activities in coordination with the shift leader, which includes handling food, directing employees, providing customer service, managing daily cash control, and ensuring facility cleanliness. You will also follow the training schedule and monitor the effectiveness of crew employee training. Additionally, you will participate in the staffing process by distributing applications and scheduling interviews, and may even conduct initial crew interviews. Your responsibilities will also include creating and executing shift goals, enforcing policies during your shift, and communicating performance issues to the assistant general manager and general manager.
