About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also requires knowledge and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures, ensuring profitability by managing food costs, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is a key aspect, as the individual will guide the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture. The position includes assisting the General Manager in implementing operations game plans and company initiatives, participating in employee management, and ensuring all required programs and reports are completed accurately and on schedule. Additionally, the role involves promoting Public Safety Foundation initiatives and representing Firehouse Subs positively.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure profitability of business by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner about issues that may impact business.
  • Perform physical tasks such as working on feet for up to 13 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Complete any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.

Benefits

  • $14.00 - $16.00 per hour compensation.
