About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our Dellwood location (10486 W Florissant Ave). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the store management team in achieving business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in an assistant manager role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including point-of-sale systems and scheduling software
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient workflow during assigned shifts
  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer inquiries or concerns promptly
  • Manage and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control
  • Ensure store cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
  • Train and develop new team members
  • Support the implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Assist in creating employee schedules and managing time-off requests
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and improve store performance
  • Respond to and resolve employee issues or concerns
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
